A quick hotfix, straight after 1.0.3
You might notice a second update today — that's deliberate. We spotted a readability problem on the welcome screen and didn't want anyone waiting for the next proper release to get it fixed.
In dark mode the welcome screen's bright background could leave the heading and sign-in options hard to read. It now deepens to a rich violet when dark mode is on, so everything stays crisp and legible whichever appearance you prefer.
